Library Advocate
I’m a library leader, speaker, author, and advocate who cares deeply about helping people find information, belonging, and connection. My research is on the social and ethical implications of AI, particularly how it affects our information landscape.
As the Co-Founder of Let Utah Read and former President of the Utah Library Association, my advocacy efforts have been awarded by ACLU Utah, the League of Women Voters, and the American Library Association. In 2024, I made history as the first librarian in the United States to run for Lt. Governor on a major party ticket.
I also speak on empathetic, curiosity-led leadership to help organizations create spaces and cultures where people thrive. Feel free to poke around my site to learn more about the work I do. I’m so glad you’re here.
